Terms and Conditions - CareTrainer Lite

1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") dictate the use and access of the CareTrainer Lite portal ("the Portal") provided by The Training Initiative Group Ltd. By registering and using the Portal, the company ("Subscriber") acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Account Registration and Security

2.1. To access the Portal, Subscribers must create an account using accurate and complete information.

2.2. Subscribers are responsible for all activities occurring under their account and are obliged to ensure the security and confidentiality of their login details.

2.3. Any unauthorised use or suspected breach of security must be promptly reported to The Training Initiative Group Ltd.

3. Subscription Term, Payment, and Renewal

3.1. The subscription term lasts for 12 months, starting on the registration date.

3.2. The subscription fee amounts to £175 monthly, inclusive of VAT. Over 12 months, the total amounts to £2,100 including VAT.

3.3. Subscription payments will be taken via card details via our Learnworlds portal using the Stripe payment gateway. Payments will be taken every month from the card details provided. Invoices will be issued at point of purchase.

3.4. Failure to make payments on time will lead to access to the portal being restricted until payments have been made. Where payments are not resumed, The Training Initiative Group Ltd. reserves the right to pursue legal action to recoup any monies owed. This may lead to additional charges being incurred for associated legal costs and any interest owed from the point of the payment being due, charged at the bank of England base rate plus 4%.

3.4. Upon completing the initial 12 months, Subscribers can either renew with the CareTrainer Support Plan or terminate the agreement.

4. Services and Access

4.1. Subscription permits one designated staff member from the Subscriber's company access to the Portal.

4.2. Available courses include: Moving People Safely, Safe Handling and Administration of Medication, Emergency First Aid, Dementia Awareness, and Safeguarding Adults.

4.3. Subscribers will have unrestricted access to the CareTrainer Library during the subscription term.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1. Due to immediate access to digital resources, refunds are not applicable once payment is made.

6. Service Availability and Maintenance

6.1. While The Training Initiative Group Ltd. endeavours to provide uninterrupted service, occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or due to unforeseen disruptions.

6.2. Planned maintenance periods will be communicated in advance to minimise inconvenience.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

7.1. Subscriber and end-user data will be processed in compliance with UK data protection laws. Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1. Any disputes arising from these Terms or related to the Portal will first undergo mediation. If unresolved, legal action may be pursued.

9. Modification of Terms

9.1. The Training Initiative Group Ltd. reserves the right to modify these Terms. Existing Subscribers will receive a 30-day notice regarding any significant changes.

10. Termination for Breach

10.1. If Subscribers violate any provision of these Terms, The Training Initiative Group Ltd. holds the right to immediately terminate access to the Portal.

11. Force Majeure

11.1. Neither party will be held responsible for failures or delays in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.

12. Acceptable Use Policy

12.1. Subscribers must adhere to ethical and respectful behaviour when using the Portal, ensuring no misuse of resources.

13. Content Accuracy

13.1. While The Training Initiative Group Ltd. prioritises accurate and up-to-date content, we do not guarantee its absolute accuracy or timeliness.

14. Governing Law and Contacts

14.1. These Terms are subject to UK laws and regulations.

Acceptance

Access and use of the CareTrainer Portal indicate the Subscriber's full understanding and acceptance of these Terms.
