What is an Affiliate Training Centre (ATC)?

  • We carry out all the quality assurance checks and learner registrations so you don't have to.
Our Affiliate Training Centre (ATC) model enables trainers to deliver regulated provision to others, be they colleagues, employees or customers, without needing to become an official Centre with an Awarding Body. 

Centre status can be very expensive and requires additional staffing, processes and procedures, and systems in place; things many organisations simply do not have the resources to fulfil. 

With our ATC Package you will have the freedom to deliver qualifications and will have complete control over the delivery and assessment of courses.

How do I become
Affiliate Training Centre?

STep 1:

Expression of
Interest

Begin by expressing your interest in becoming an Affiliate Training Centre. This can be done through our online form or direct contact. 
STep 2:

Complete your Application

Complete our online application form to start the process to become an ATC.
STep 3:

Qualification Verification

We will review your qualifications and experience as a trainer. This step ensures that all our affiliate trainers meet the high standards we set for all our ATCs.
STep 4:

Centre Agreement and Onboarding

Once approved, we'll provide you with an Affiliate Centre Agreement outlining the terms and conditions. After signing, you'll be officially onboarded into our network. We will guide you through our systems and processes to ensure a smooth start.
STep 5:

Training and Resources Access

You will receive training on our systems, including how to upload evidence and understand our quality assurance processes. You will also receive access to assessment materials and any delivery resources you have purchased. 
Step 6:

Start
Training!

With all the formalities completed, you are now ready to start delivering and assessing TQUK-regulated qualifications. You'll have our full support throughout your journey as an Affiliate Training Centre.

What the course covers

Unit 1 : Understanding the Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training.

This introductory unit helps you to understand the basics of teaching including health and safety, equal opportunities and the other professionals you may have to work with.

Unit 2: Understanding and using inclusive learning and teaching approaches in education and training.

This unit explores how people learn, the ways in which people communicate and how to use a range of different teaching methods and resources to help you meet your learners’ individual needs.

Unit 3: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.

This unit identifies what assessment is and how to deliver excellent assessment practice. The unit is focuses on assessing workplace achievement or those delivering qualifications and awards.
